Donations

You do not have to be a Friends of Cypress Library member to support our mission.

  • Monetary donations of any amount are always welcomed. 
  • We accept books (read more below).
  • At times, we need volunteers to help with book sales and community events.  


Proceeds from book sales, monetary and book donations help fund amazing Library programs and/or defray costs of Library supplies and resources. 

Friends of Cypress Library is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), (EIN #32-0451655). Your donations may be tax deductible. Consult your tax professional.

Monetary Donations

Friends of Cypress Library accepts monetary donations in any amount. Donations greater than $100 receive recognition on our webpage. Please contact us if you would like to remain anonymous for your donation.

Book Donations

We welcome donations of newer adult, teen, and children’s books, magazines, and jigsaw puzzles.

We DO NOT accept the following:

  • Old, wet, moldy, or damaged books or magazines 
  • Jigsaw puzzles that are missing pieces (we all know how disappointing it is to work on a puzzle and not be able to finish it)
  • Magazines over 6 months old 

Come by the Cypress Library during normal business hours and drop off your donations at the front desk. Let the staff know your donations are for Friends of Cypress Library.

 

Please DO NOT drop your donations into the black, Library Return boxes located outside of the Library. These boxes are only for returning checked out materials from the Library.
